A day on the mountain.

After a spur of the moment decision on Sunday we ended up at the Bunyas for lunch and a walk.  In our totally organised fashion Andrew's brother supplied lunch and we brought beer and cake. (yes everything else in our house has run out yet we still have beer and cake. Priorities, people. Priorities.)

The boy who has barely napped all week slept all the way there and then had another nap in the ergo whilst we walked.  (So much for taking him out to wear him out).  Though he did love being dragged around by enthusiastic cousins.

We ended up on a 4km walk, that I swear was in fact 10km, and this was someone's idea of a great joke. All in all, a great way to spend a Sunday.

  3. Hi Bettina, I have just found your blog via Mother Down Under. When Imogen was about 2 we were in the Bunyas and decided to go for a walk, we ended up on the same 4 km walk you did and she fell asleep shortly into the walk. I carried her all the way without the help of a carrier. It did feel like it was 10 km. Frank was busy keeping up with Aurian so I carried her all the way. Great memories though.
