Idol

It really is the sweetest thing. The way he looks up at him so adoringly.

He lies in between us in the mornings and it used to be me who he would climb all over. But now he turns to his Dad, grinning with his whole face as he beats on his chest in happiness.

He follows him around the house chanting 'Mum...Mum...Mumma' but we all know what he really means.

He insists on 'helping' with every task, putting his head right next to yours, his hands in on the action.

He squeals with excitement as he is thrown around, his head ever so close to the floor and ceiling (in mama's eyes).  There is no fear, as he knows nothing to be afraid of, there is only fun, and trust, and his Dad.

There are tears when he leaves for work.  We wave goodbye and he pushes away from me, as if he wants to go; there are adventures to find.

{Please take note; the bathroom is happening!!  Here's to hitting our goal - house finished by May!!}

  7. Jarvis adores his father as well. His first word was Dad, then cat. Now he is 15 months old he says Daddy, Cat, Tir ( a mumbled version of Tira), Ka Ka, (Tamika his big sister), even Sisi (Susie my little sister), but has yet to mutter Mum or any version of it.
    PS love the two images of the 'boys' working together.
