So Che and Fidel have started the 52 project. One portrait, once a week. Much more manageable. I found it through Sash at Inked in Colour (one of my favourite Aussie blogs) if you'd like to see her portraits as well.
So whilst I'm a little late to the game (because we are already technically in week 2) here we go...
I have to admit, this photo was a total accident. I was actually trying to keep the camera away from him and he was determined to get it. I wasn't even looking when I snapped it (which explains why I haven't captured his whole face) but I love it even more because of it. Those eyes...!

I also toyed with the idea of 365 but found myself feeling like it was already becoming more of an obligation than fun to try and get a 'good' picture each day (especially here in London where the daylight hours are so so short). 52 is much more my speed.
